The song conclude Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy dwilogy of humans-falling-in-out-of-love (well in this case, it portrays the falling-in part) which is always touching. this one... not just touching, but also sincere.
Two strangers (definitely different from Tya's term of strangers =p) meet on a train in Europe. sort of random kind of thing, one conversation leads to another and the next thing they know is they both walking on the streets of Vienna.
for me, it's a beautiful portrayal of meeting-that-right-person. added to that, the sensuality of Vienna as the background.
And guess what? conversation opens the story and conversation kinda lead the whole movie. that 105-minutes of dialogs is what keep me intrigued. while the conversation itself covers subjects that's again... random, you can definitely see how it construct them becoming more fond to each other. and i can surely relate to that (hehe curhat colongan), well, i believe all of us can relate tothat. i mean, it's amazing, if only you dare to strike up that conversation with someone new, or someone you knew all along but everything is pretty much still on-the-surface between.
As for how the story ends? I recommend you to enjoy it yourself.
it's also interesting how the first movie, Before Sunrise was filmed in 1995 and the conclusion, Before Sunset came then in 2004. 9 years in the making, and while it's not as powerful as the first movie, i surely love how the love story close with that one song above. splendid.
