Leave The Great Indoors

Great Indoors - John Mayer

Check your pulse it's proof that you're not listening to
The call your life's been issuing you
The rhythm of a line of idle days

Scared of a world outside you should go explore
Pull all the shades and wander the great indoors
The great indoors

Lamplight makes the shadows play
And posters take the walls away
The T.V. is your window pane
The view won't let you down
So put your faith in a late night show
I bet you didn't even know
Depends on how far out you go
The channel numbers change

Scared of a world outside you should go explore
Pull all the shades and wander the great indoors

Though lately I can't blame you
I have seen the world
And sometimes wish your room had room for two

So go unlock the door
And find what you are here for
Leave the great indoors
Leave the great indoors

yeas i stole the line from John Mayer. and i have no intention to hide it from anyone, cause it means more than just a line for me. there's something beyond Leave The Great Indoors.

- it challenged me to see the world out there. to explore. to see that God has a lot more in store. as Sun Tzu said. "in the beginners mind there are many possibilities, in the experts there are few." So yeah, this is what this blog about, me seeing things as beginners. continually observe and challenge things.

- indoors represent the so-called box we're living in. how we tend to compartmentalize our thinking. leaving the great indoors is my way of saying thinking out of the box.

- great indoors also represent the sweet-comfort-zone we prefer to stay in. so yeah, leave them once in a while. cause only when you leave that you can realize where you stand and how far you've progressed.

so yeah, that's a little bit introduction from me. to conclude this blog would be very random as it range from daily life topics, to business, to relationship, food, or anything. i would write freely, for freedom is what i seek.  To everyone daring to step into this page, hope you enjoyed my words, my trips outside the great indoors. =D
